  1. “How does what I believe change my life?”

A.  Change is from the inside out.

  1. It is going to change the way we view God’s word.

James 1:19-27

  1. There are 4 changes that happen when we start to follow Jesus.
  2. Change happens because we reorientate ourselves to His word.
  1. We treat God’s word like a giant search engine.
  2. Others treat it like a moral menu.
  1. God says look at it like looking into a mirror.
  1. God’s word shows us who we really are and tells us what we need.
  2. Sometimes we get a faulty reading from the mirror.
  1. For some it says, I am good.

  1. I’ve become a better person.

  1. But God says, you are a sinner in need of grace.
